Recommended Reading and a Tired Pooch

ZzZzZzZz...that's my Pep with her siblings! We bring her home soon, supposedly 1-2 weeks. She is getting older and the other reserved pups have gone home. Her breeder thinks she may be show quality, so she wants to keep her just a while more and possibly then ask us to show her :o)
I have her reserved from Staatlich Border Collies, cooldogmama.blogspot.com for information. Yep, that's the recommended reading :) She's such a beauty. I can't wait to get my baby home with me, it will be such an experience to have a pup around the house again! I've already gotten her a bed, some toys, a collar and I.D. tags, a leash, and her very own food. :) Soon I'll have...her!! When that day comes, it'll be another long trip to Tennessee but it will all be worth it to be bringing home my baby Ree's Red Pepper. She is such a wonderful dog (yes, I have met her, not too long ago either) and so beautiful. She is energetic but very mellow for her breed. This will be an amazing experience!

And a Star Is Born

This is Zeke's entrance for the contest by emmadactryl on FooPets.com, called "And a Star is Born." The contest is long over but it's still a cute video!

Pet Rocks and Tennis Balls

There is, now, the heated discussion of pet rocks. One person's opinion, pet rocks don't eat, sleep breathe, die, "their just damn rocks." (Quote, Warrior-Loves-Spare, FooPets.com) Another's opinion, pet rocks are fun, cute pets, but that "some people take the matter too seriously, and some people don't know how to take a joke." (Quote, Jaxeh, FooPets.com)

Anyways, just thought I'd do a bit of that...........

A video of Zeke needing to get his act together is in store, you think? I think so. He's a lazy butt on our couch while his agility equipment is just sitting in the yard, screaming, "use me! Use me!"

He is, however, motivated extremely by tennis balls!

Anyone Ever Seen Such a Dog?

Yeah, a shaved Poodle. :O This is just a picture I dug up of our old girl, Mae. Beautiful, yes, smart, yes, friendly....well, eh... :) She was a great dog.

Introductions...meet the pups

Ch. Ree's Red Pepper

This is miss Pep. She is about 1 month old and is a female Red Border Collie. We do not have her just yet, she is still weaning at the breeder's. We are all very excited to get her in the end of April. We absolutely adore her and can't wait to meet her!

Ch. Lurking In The Shadows

This is our beautiful baby girl, 7 year old Shadow. She is a female black Labrador Retriever. We love her to death but she is a little aggressive with unfamiliar dogs. For example, she is absolutely fine with Zeke, Jax, and my grandmother's Chihuahua cross, Alpha, but she and Pansy, a neighborhood dog, would love to kill each other. We love our Shadow.

Ch. Ree's Ezekiel

Zeke's got two speeds; 50 miles per hour, and 0 miles per hour. XD He's our big old mutt, and he is two years old. Zeke is sweet, smart, and agile. He is a mix of Lab, Standard Poodle, Greyhound, and perhaps Wolfhound. His mum was purebred Yellow Lab and his dad was a Poodle/Greyhound/Miscellaneous mix! He competes in agility with me and kicks butt. If you want a combination of cute, well behaved, and friendly, Zeke's your man...unless you have cats!

Ch. Ree's Jax O Max

Jaxy is a 6 year old Maltese. He is friendly, yet wary. He is lazy, yet high strung. He's a lap dog, yet dies for a walk. We love him so much and he is quite the cutie. He likes to sleep in toy dog beds and he'll do anything for a treat. He was dumped with us at 11 months old and before that he was terribly abused; we're talking throwing, kicking, yelling, making him eat his own waste...what horrible person could do that? It took a while to get him used to just us but he's warmed up perfectly. My boy ♥
